OVERVIEW
Family Research Council (FRC) is a 25M nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC dedicated to articulating and advancing a family-centered philosophy of public life. Its mission is to serve in the kingdom of God by championing faith, family, and freedom in public policy and the culture from a biblical worldview. In addition to providing policy research and analysis for the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the federal government, FRC seeks to inform the news media, the academic community, business leaders, and the public about family issues that affect the nation from a biblical worldview.
The Vice President of Development is responsible to lead FRC’s fundraising plan, strategy and execution alongside FRC’s marketing efforts to help grow their national influence and partner base. This role oversees a dedicated professional fundraising team who focus on all giving levels in a multi-channel fundraising environment. This role also develops and builds an effective marketing program across channels to effectively share FRC’s vision, mission and programs. Strong administrative skills are essential in this role and attention to detail, grounded in relational strengths, while working in a collaborative work environment with other departments.
