For more than 60 years, Good News Global has faithfully proclaimed the hope of Jesus Christ throughout the global correctional community. Founded in 1961, this ~$9 million ministry equips chaplains and ministry leaders who serve in correctional institutions across the United States and more than 20 countries, bringing the transforming message of the Gospel to incarcerated men and women, encouraging their families, supporting correctional professionals, and mobilizing churches and volunteers to participate in this vital mission.

The President serves as the ministry’s chief executive officer, providing spiritual, strategic, and organizational leadership while serving as its primary ambassador. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the next President will build upon a strong, stable foundation by developing leaders, expanding fundraising, strengthening partnerships, and advancing the ministry’s mission throughout the global correctional community.
