Every day, the organization equips chaplains and ministry leaders who share the transforming message of the Gospel with incarcerated men and women, encourage their families, strengthen local churches, and build trusted relationships with correctional professionals. It has been financially stable for more than five years and has a committed leadership team, all of whom have 10+ years at the organization. The six-member Board of Directors operates at a high level utilizing a governance model and is looking to expand under the new President.

Good News Global believes conversion is only the beginning of the Christian journey. Through initiatives such as RENEW, its Bible correspondence ministry, trauma healing programs, small-group discipleship, mentoring relationships, and continued biblical instruction, the ministry helps new believers mature in their faith while preparing them to become spiritual leaders within their correctional communities. Volunteers from local churches mentor participants, grade Bible lessons, and encourage continued spiritual growth.

Rather than working independently, Good News Global intentionally brings together churches, volunteers, correctional institutions, chaplains, donors, and ministry partners around a shared Kingdom mission. Chaplains recruit and equip volunteers, encourage churches to become actively involved in correctional ministry, and cultivate trusted relationships with correctional leadership that create opportunities for long-term Gospel influence. The ideal candidate may currently be serving on the executive team of another nonprofit ministry who is ready to step into the leadership position. Or they could come from the business or corporate world and have a long history of volunteering in jail and prison ministry. Or they could be a senior pastor or missions pastor with the gifts of strategy and leadership and a calling to expand their ministry globally.

POSITION SUMMARY
The President of Good News Global serves as the chief executive officer of the ministry and is responsible for providing Christ-centered leadership that advances the organization’s mission of bringing the transforming hope of the Gospel to incarcerated men and women.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the President provides strategic vision, organizational leadership, fundraising leadership, financial stewardship, and spiritual direction while fostering trusted partnerships with correctional institutions, chaplains, churches, donors, volunteers, and ministry partners. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
