Vice President of Advancement

Love Justice International (LJI) is a $4.5M Christian nonprofit organization with the mission of sharing the love of Jesus Christ by fighting the world’s greatest injustices. They do this in two primary ways: through expanding anti-human trafficking work and by caring for orphaned and abandoned children.

The Vice President of Advancement (VPA) will play a crucial role in overseeing their fundraising activities, donor relations, and strategic partnerships. The VPA will report to the CEO and is responsible for building and executing an excellent fundraising, marketing, and public relations plan, and developing world-class tools to support the growth of both the fundraising and marketing functions of the organization.

Love Justice International steps in during the critical moments between freedom and slavery. Our system of transit monitoring dares to believe that together we can prevent the next victim from being trafficked and that the knowledge gained can—and does—lead to arrests and convictions of those who seek to make people into victims. LJI is passionate about:

  • Stopping human trafficking.

According to the International Labour Organization, over 50 million people live in modern-day slavery because of human trafficking. LJI places trained monitors at strategic transit points to identify and stop trafficking as it is occurring BEFORE people are exploited. To date, they have intercepted over 50,000 individuals to prevent them from being trafficked.

  • Helping put traffickers in jail.

Since LJI intercepts hundreds of people monthly, intervening as the crime of trafficking occurs, they are able to collect immensely valuable data on traffickers and their networks. Through their data analysis and investigations, they have helped authorities arrest over 1,300 suspects in connection with their anti-trafficking work.

  • Caring for the most vulnerable.

Love Justice was established with the opening of family homes in some of the poorest parts of the world, caring for orphaned and abandoned children. They also operate a school in South Asia, empowering students to become difference-makers in the world through excellent education.
