Christ’s Hope International (CHI) Is approximately a $2 million global organization with seven ministry countries—Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa, Namibia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, and Uganda—and seven mobilizing/fundraising countries—US, United Kingdom, Canada, Netherlands, Germany, France, and Belgium. CHI exists to empower orphaned and vulnerable children to break the cycles of extreme poverty, AIDS, and spiritual brokenness through family-based care and discipleship in Jesus Christ.

The International Director serves as chief executive to CHI and, in partnership with the International Board, is responsible for the success of CHI. Together, the International Board and the International Director, assure CHI’s relevance to the community, the accomplishment of the vision and mission, and the accountability of CHI to all stakeholders.

The International Director should be collaborative, team-orientated, and have excellent social skills to create successful working relationships in a multi-cultural environment with people from many different backgrounds. It will be very important that the ID ensures an open, participative, and consultative approach to decision-making. Words like Leader, Strategic Planning, Team Developer, Visionary, Executor describe this individual.
