OVERVIEW
Christ’s Hope International (CHI) Is approximately a $2 million organization with seven ministry countries—Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa, Namibia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, and Uganda—and seven mobilizing/fundraising countries—US, United Kingdom, Canada, Netherlands, Germany, France, and Belgium. CHI exists to empower orphaned and vulnerable children to break the cycles of extreme poverty, AIDS, and spiritual brokenness through family-based care and discipleship in Jesus Christ.
The US Executive Director is the key management role in the US for CHI. This role is responsible for fund development, marketing, child sponsorship programs and all back-office operations in the US (i.e., accounting, IT). He or she reports directly to the US Board Chair and collaborates closely with the International Director. The Executive Director will lead the US staff and will work alongside of Board of Directors to develop a strategic plan to increase the number of sponsors for children and increase the donor base through major donors, foundations and campaigns.
