National Director of Major Gift Development

International Cooperating Ministries

Three billion people live in a community without a church. Some may have heard the Gospel and given their lives to Christ, but they have no place to worship in community with other believers and no way to understand the Bible.  ICM is a Christian nonprofit organization committed to solving this problem by equipping believers around the world to establish healthy, reproducing churches-- ICM is the Global Church Developer.

International Cooperating Ministries – (ICM) is a $38 million Christian nonprofit based in Hampton, VA that partners with over 269 indigenous ministries in 100 countries and equips them for church growth. ICM provides financial and procedural support for congregations to build their own church buildings. ICM also provides discipleship resources in over 60 languages primarily through the Foundations curriculum, a clear, systematic audio and print (and soon animated video) Bible study developed by Pastor Dick Woodward. They currently have 54 employees.

ICM seeks to add to their team a National Director of Major Donor Development to lead the current team of 9.5 Major Gift Officers in raising about half of the annual budget through major donor fundraising. Each Major Gift Officer is expected to steward a portfolio of up to 150 donors and $1 to $1.5million. This relational, goal-oriented leader will spend about half their time developing and executing strategies to support, measure, and enhance the effectiveness for the Advancement Team. They will spend the other half of their time stewarding their own portfolio of major donors. This will be a remote position, reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer.
